Review: You are probably wondering, yeah thats great all the marketing fluff, but how are they really. The louvers really are made here in Chico, CA - shipped to San Diego where they are painted, and then shipped to you. So as a customer that has installed these. It takes about 7-10 working days for them to be painted if they are not in stock, many colors are in stock so you have the possibility of them shipping right away, if not, a week or two is not that long to wait for a quality painted product.

Always remember, get it right the first time and don't rush things. So you recieve the louvers, open the box, they are a lightweight but durable ABS plastic, the raw plastic on the backside is black, and the facing side is painted whatever you desire. Line up the louvers with your windows to make sure you have you bearings, use the included cleaning solution and follow all instructions. Then you just peel and stick, let the louvers sit for atleast 24 hours before driving, and it's better to put these on in warmer temperatures so the adhesive can bond to the glass better.

They look great, are super easy to install, there is really nothing to complain about!

Just a note to all of our customers who have ordered Ford carpeted floor mats, or anyone interested in buying Ford carpeted mats; Ford has officially discontinued all carpet floor mats for Ford vehicles as the supplier that was making them for Ford has gone out of business.

However, Ford has located a new supplier and has stated that new mats will be available Q1 of 2010. So we are looking at January-Febuary 2010 before any carpets become available. We are working on finding an aftermarket solution to some Ford carpeted mats and will have some news soon. Thank you.

SSS Terminator & Adrenaline Muffler Systems

Hi, Paul here from Partscheap.com. We are looking to move into the performance realm a bit more and in doing so i believe we need to start testing equipment. Our first test is the Stainless Steel Systems (SSS) Terminator Exhaust System. We recently put a set of SSS Terminator Mufflers on a test vehicle here at the store which is a 2007 Mustang GT Automatic.I have constructed a video with the standard sound bytes that everyone is looking for using a professional microphone for the best sound quality as well as hi-definition video. The microphone used is a directional microphone so you are getting the true sound of the muffler. For the interior sounds it is recorded in 4 channel surround so you are getting the sound from all directions in the interior of the car.

Construction & Installation: You would think that for a budget exhaust system the SSS mufflers would not be high quality, however this is not the case. The SSS Terminator Mufflers are very well made with spot-on weld seams and stainless steel finish. The clamps and bolts are superb quality with nice clean machine cuts and threading. The muffler mounts fit perfectly into the support boots and require no modification or bending like the FRPP Stingers have for us in the past. The Tips are adjustable but for the stock fasica it seems best to push them all the way back otherwise the tips stick out a bit much. The tips are 4" in diameter and do not look too big at all. Double walled rolled stainless steel is perfectly assembled, no blemishes, markings, and nothing about it looks cheap. Our tech's installed the mufflers in about 30 minutes with no issues.

Sound: The Terminator muffler series is the loudest street muffler from SSS and i found them very comparable to the Borla Stinger but louder and deeper. When the car is first started it sounds mean. A loud roar on start-up and then the idle rumble eminates from the car that just defines the muscle car sound and I could not ask for anything better. Hearing them from the outside they definitely can be heard, a nice muscle car rumble during normal acceleration and then they really open up when you give it some extra gas.

Interior sound with the windows up or down is a nice pleasing rumble and you can easily hear the throaty rumble of the car while driving at normal in-town speeds. Turning a corner and giving it extra gas, it opens up and it gives you a little extra roar. During regular city driving the mufflers are always audible and you can be confident knowing that you and everyone around you will hear that V8 roar.

For the freeway test it opens up again to get on the on-ramp. And then at 60mph, 2,000 RPM cruising speed, there was no obvious drone other than the usual Mustang road noise, the stereo was easily audible with no issues and i can safely say that at highway cruising this is a drone free system unless you are pushing it hard.

SSS Also makes the Adrenaline Series exhaust which we have yet to review. However from customer reviews and from what i am told by SSS. The Adrenaline series has the same deep sound as the Terminator series but not as much audible sound at idle and normal cruising but just as much when you hit the gas. The SSS Exhaust system is something that i would proudly have on my car without question and if you are looking for a system comparable to the big-name brands but don't want to spend the big-name money.
